a solo pantomime show

The program is based on fragmentary narratives that reflect life in all its facets—longings, hopes, fears, and moments of happiness. We are constantly guided by a keen eye for the paradoxes and fractures in human life.

Contemporary theater in a classical guise

A journey through the emotional landscapes we all know. Through the power of the body and expressive facial expressions, images of touching intensity come to life.

A variety-show-style character, who previews the individual pieces and connects them with specially written texts, guides the audience through the program like a master of ceremonies and becomes an approachable constant for the audience.

The production adds a new dimension to pantomime.

Visual theater that allows the audience not only to watch but also to empathize. It holds up a mirror to the audience: at times humorous and grotesque, at times fragile and quiet.

Katja Grahl has worked with, among others, the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin and has performed at festivals such as Mime Berlin, the Dresden Pantomime Festival, the Turin Mime Festival (Italy), the Cali Theater Festival (Colombia), and the “Yozer Dofen” Theater Festival (Israel).

Her trademark is the combination of variety-show-influenced staging with Decroux-style physical precision.
