Learning theater through play

Acting together with other children teaches the basics of theater. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the children have lots of fun rehearsing a play. Through acting, dancing, and singing, they learn to spark great enthusiasm and, at the end of the week, present their own play to parents and friends. A group tour of the castle is, of course, included.

The theater camp week is designed for elementary school-aged children. Groups are organized by age. The camp takes place Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., held outdoors at the Grunewald Hunting Lodge. On Friday at 2 p.m., the children will put on a short performance for interested parents, relatives, and friends.

Please bring: comfortable (and rainproof) clothing, plenty to drink and, if needed, a snack, art supplies, non-slip socks, or slippers. Lunch is available through the on-site café for an estimated 5 € per day. Advance registration is required (no later than Monday on-site).

Please note: Access to the castle courtyard is not permitted until 9:50 a.m. The meeting point is at the ticket counter in the café. Registration and payment for the course—and for lunch, if applicable—will take place there.
