Autumn concert by the Sono97 Chamber Choir

Time passes – and yet life seems to stand still. In our autumn concert, excerpts from Philippe Hersant’s *Tristia* (2016), based on texts by French prisoners, enter into a dialogue with choral music from the 16th and 17th centuries by Lassus, Monteverdi, Ingegneri, Tallis, Dowland and Wilbye.

Performed a cappella as well as with lute and cello, the programme spans the period from the Renaissance to the present day – between darkness and light, confinement and vastness, the inner and the outer.
