Recognising symptoms and understanding the body: This series of talks focuses on conditions and disorders of the uterus – ranging from abnormal bleeding and pain, through uterine prolapse and fibroids, to adenomyosis, which often goes undiagnosed for a long time. The speakers will explain the possible causes behind these symptoms and the diagnostic and treatment options available. They will also outline when conservative treatment, surgery or an initial ‘wait-and-see’ approach might be appropriate. The aim is to help participants better interpret their body’s signals and make informed, personalised medical decisions. Attendance is free of charge and no prior registration is required.
