During the Long Night of Museums, visitors can enjoy a special insight into the hidden, strange, and surprising aspects of the Old Masters Collection. You are invited to join the team for a chat during the Long Night.

Binge-watching at the Kulturforum: The Long Night is all about the big emotions – the sorrows and joys of love! Have your tissues ready! Kitschy tearjerkers, intense dramas, and – perhaps – a love of a lifetime await you.

These twelve romantic episodes of the (picture) series will ensure you won't want to leave the Picture Gallery anytime soon.

We're not just looking for a cheeky rascal with wings who'll cause a stir, but also hidden signs of great emotions.

Musical Interventions

(Sibling) Love | 7:00 p.m., 7:45 p.m., 8:30 p.m.
accordo – a non-profit chamber music association founded by five young musicians from Berlin – is dedicating short concerts to the siblings Fanny Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and exploring the love of family, including its downsides.

Love of Music. Music of Love

Paintings are full of music – either directly depicting musicians and musical instruments or depicting subjects that have inspired composers. Gaby Bultmann will play special musical instruments to selected paintings.

• 10:00 PM / Hall XVI: Venus and Music. Music around Titian with singing and Renaissance instruments

Workshop in the Foyer

Love Letters | 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Create your own stamp and print cards full of heart, sparkle, and emotion! Whether it's the heart, the hand, or the flame—what does love mean to you? Put your thoughts on paper with a calligraphy pen. A creative game centered around the most beautiful feeling in the world. Come along to the open workshop and join in!



The Café am Kulturforum is open until midnight.
