What do a person’s belongings say about them? Let’s find out through a game. You’ll be given a sheet of paper. On it is a drawing of a cluttered desk. And numbers. Each number represents an object. Each object represents an anecdote, a story, a little slice of life. You can choose a number. And the performance will unfold of its own accord.
Inbal Yomtovian has surprised audiences at ‘Theatre of Things’ on several occasions. This year, she returns to Berlin with an object theatre piece—without any objects.
Inspired by the work of the artist Daniel Spoerri and his book *Anecdotes on the Topography of Chance*, she creates a powerful space for the imagination, in which humorous banalities, biographical turning points and intimate wounds unfold side by side, allowing the ambivalences of a life to be experienced.
