25 years of the Goldschmidt Programme for young German-French literary translators
In 2000, the Frankfurt Book Fair and France Livre (formerly Bureau International de l'Edition Française), with the support of the Franco-German Youth Office, initiated a program that has since significantly enriched literary exchange between France and Germany – now also with participation from Switzerland and Austria.

Literarisches Colloquium Wannsee
Approximately 250 translators have since participated in the multi-week workshops, which have resulted not only in influential literary works but also in numerous professional collaborations and personal friendships – an anniversary worth celebrating!
