
From 27 to 31 August 2025, Berlin Atonal returns to the fascinatingly vast industrial backdrop of Kraftwerk Berlin with new commissioned works, premieres, artworks and club nights.
In the iconic Kraftwerk Berlin, a monumental setting for audiovisual experiences, Atonal brings together international artists, innovative installations and large-scale performances.
With over 100 acts, numerous world premieres and cross-genre collaborations, the festival sets new standards.

Berlin Atonal 2025 reflects the social and political tensions of a changing city. The festival sees itself as a platform for cultural resistance, artistic innovation and the strengthening of Berlin's underground scene.

Since its founding in 1982 and its revival in 2013, Berlin Atonal has established itself as one of Europe's most influential platforms for experimental music, sound art and interdisciplinary performance.With a strong focus on current developments in electronic music, sound art and hybrid art forms, the biennial festival presents large-scale commissioned works, unique collaborations, site-specific installations and ephemeral artistic encounters.
Berlin Atonal represents an open, undefined format: a dense sequence of artistic situations that defy conventional grids.
