"The wonderful thing about genuine laughter is that it destroys any kind of system that divides people." (John Cleese)

Laughter – a fascinating phenomenon that connects people while simultaneously revealing the deepest secrets of the human body. L-Movement is dedicated to the physical and emotional power of laughter. The focus is on the body, or more precisely, its center – the torso. Here, a new dance language unfolds that explores the origin of laughter and expresses its energy in flowing movements.

The piece shows how laughter can unite people, but also how it is shaped and sometimes suppressed by social norms. It reminds us that genuine laughter must not be controlled – for it has the power to shatter systems and lead people back to the roots of their humanity.

Babies laugh long before they can speak, and this primal form of expression remains an essential part of our being. L-Movement is not only a tribute to laughter, but also an invitation to rediscover its untamed energy.
