Festival for Electroacoustic Music and Sound Art

2022 marks (finally) the return of the festival for electroacoustic music and sound art KONTAKTE. Since its premiere in 2015, two more editions have advanced the exchange between and presentation of electroacoustic music and sound art from Berlin and the world, but the biennial rhythm has been shaken up by the pandemic. Between 22 and 25 September, the first edition since 2019 will console the long wait with a broad programme that will set accents.

For example, the trio Pony Says with Jessie Marino will perform "An Ideal Hour: Collages with Tom for and with Pony Says" for the first time, which will include works by Uikyung Lee, Jessie Marino, Martin Schüttler and Yiran Zhao.
This will be joined by the world premiere of Netta Weiser's "Hereafter", a radio choreography that explores the possibilities of the acoustic translation of choreographic practice into multi-channel electronics.
The Female Laptop Orchestra invites you to the big "City Jam", Maximilian Marcoll and the guitar duo AAA---AAA present their joint work "A C H K". Also not to be missed are Clemens Gadenstätter's concert installation "ES und AnderES" with the ensemble mosaik and Anna Hauf, which has already taken place on 16 September, and the DEGEM's annual concert.
