Kiebich and Dutz – Special screening as part of Children’s Culture Month

Kiebich longs for the outside world, for wide open spaces and new experiences. Dutz, on the other hand, loves the cosiness and the familiar. Amidst cushions, shadows and make-believe games, they invent their own heroic tales – until one of them plucks up the courage to actually set off.

In the strange world, Kiebich encounters a seductive force that lures him with sound and promises. And suddenly it becomes clear what friendship

means: not standing still, but setting off when the other is in danger.

With humour, music and vivid imagery, the play explores fear and curiosity, illusory worlds and real experiences.

A timeless story about how difficult and how necessary it is to take that first step – and that courage sometimes arises where you least expect it.
