"Some of you may be familiar with the Cassandra myth. For everyone else, I'll tell you briefly: Cassandra, that is, me, was given the ability to predict the future by a god, no matter which one. Since she, that is, I, didn't want to sleep with him, he spat in her, that is, me, mouth and punished me by saying that no one would believe me."
Author Paula Kläy, born in Zurich in 1997, is writing a text for RambaZamba about Cassandra as a timeless myth in catastrophic times. Most recently, Kläy and Rieck, both members of the DIEZEN writing collective, collaborated on Gigantic Loneliness (2025) at the Munich Kammerspiele.
Actress and singer Hieu Pham and musician, composer, and actor Leo Solter regularly perform together as members of the RambaZamba house band 21 downbeat. For KASSANDRA, they create a musical happening that spans all genres.
