Two weeks before each premiere—usually on Sunday afternoons—the Komische Oper Berlin hosts a matinee at the Schillertheater and its other venues.

The directing team, musical director, and set and costume designers discuss the creation of the new production and offer exciting behind-the-scenes insights. Of course, the event also features selected musical excerpts from the upcoming premiere.
- Those who’d like to start the morning on a delightful note can join the opera breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere starting at 11 a.m. (€18.50 per person). Table reservations can be made by email.
