ILLUSIONS_ bones and keys continues an ongoing series of expansive, immersive, and site-specific installations featuring sculptures, instruments, and stage lighting.

Here, collision is understood as a potentially productive moment—one that opens up new perspectives and unpredictable compositions. Metal sculptures clang against one another, bones scrape across the floor, and wind machines set rotating electric guitars in motion—the result is an ever-changing sculptural concert, a multi-layered cacophony of sound and light.

At its core, the installation explores beauty, theatricality, and spectacle, coming across as both inviting and eerily unsettling. The audience can observe this system of constant transformation from the outside or enter it, walk through it, and partially interact with the elements to help shape their movement and the resulting soundscape. In addition, July Weber and invited guests will activate and expand the installation through concerts and performative interventions.
