Rosa Luxemburg's prison letters to Sonja Liebknecht
Rosa Luxemburg was a passionate politician and a sensitive observer of people and nature. She loved life, animals, plants, landscapes. She enjoyed music, painting and literature.
Her letters from prison to her friend Sonja Liebknecht, written in secret in 1917/18, are a literary testimony of rarity value.
They contain personal and unusually poetic texts of a woman torn between political ideals, her strength-sapping radicalism and a female longing for security and acceptance.
The actress Daphna Rosenthal will read.
