An excursion in Reinickendorf

A walk along the Humboldt Trail offers an interesting way to discover the Reinickendorf district. The Humboldt brothers grew up in Tegel and spent the first part of their lives in Tegel Palace. In order to make their North Berlin traces tangible on site, Humboldt-Parcours was developed as a project of the Tourismusverein Berlin-Reinickendorf e.V..

Humboldt-Parcours offers those interested an eventful excursion full of Berlin history.

The app leads past the stations of the lives of the brothers Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt in Tegel. It offers exciting and entertaining information about the individual points in the lives of these personalities. The trail was designed as a circular route with eight stations and starts at the tourist information office in Alt-Tegel (pedestrian zone Alt-Tegel corner Treskowstraße).

As a special highlight, especially for children and young people, the student app "Humboldt Rally" has also been developed. Guests are guided through the Humboldt Parcours in an entertaining way with many riddles and tasks.

The app "Humboldt Parcours" is available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play and can also be used as a language version.
