Horst Evers draws his stories straight from the absurd normality of everyday life: told with a light touch, whilst keeping both feet firmly on the ground. For around two hours, he takes the audience on a journey through highly entertaining experiences that, almost in passing and with plenty of wonder and laughter, explain the world – at least in broad terms.

For decades, Evers has been bringing a steady stream of new stories to the stage. For him, storytelling is a way of gathering strength for the next round of everyday madness – and at the same time an invitation to the audience to take the evening with a pinch of humour.

The title of his new programme is also typical of Evers: it was originally meant to be ‘You’ve got to think about problems from the solution’s point of view sometimes!’. Because this title was deemed too long and cumbersome, the choice finally fell on a short, melodious word with as many vowels as possible: Dasjadaknülla. The title naturally features in the programme as well.
