The Hope Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary

Together with its benefactors, the congregation and all guests, the Foundation would like to look back on ten years of its work and celebrate this anniversary with music and fellowship.

Together with the soloists Kristina Gordadze (soprano), Artak Kirakosyan (tenor), Simone Poltronieri (oboe), Constanze Din (bassoon) and Pablo Bader (poetry and recitation), the Utopia Orchestra will present a diverse programme that brings together musical eras, countries and traditions. The programme spans from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, through major works of the Classical and Romantic eras, to opera, operetta, tango and film music. Alongside well-known compositions by Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Bartók, Puccini and Offenbach, the programme features works by Astor Piazzolla, Ennio Morricone, Wojciech Kilar and others.

The Utopia Orchestra is the first inclusive symphony orchestra in Germany. It forms part of Werkstatt Utopia, the inclusive music project run by the association KulturLeben Berlin – Schlüssel zur Kultur e.V., and is supported by Aktion Mensch. Here, people with and without disabilities make music together in their spare time. What unites them is their love of music and the belief that cultural participation and collaborative artistic creation bring people together.

The Hoffnungsstiftung is committed to sustainably strengthening life within the community of the Hoffnungskirche Pankow and to supporting projects that foster community, participation and social cohesion. With this anniversary concert, it aims to bring people together whilst also sending a message of openness, connection and a vibrant sense of community.
