On Sunday, October 29, the capital racecourse attracts to the Grand Season Finale - Race Day of Hearts 2022 in Hoppegarten. The highlight of the day is without a doubt one of the oldest racing titles in Germany, the "Silver Horse".

The standing test, which belongs to the European Group III, is the last major race for marathon horses this year. The Silver Horse was created by the Prussian Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm and was held for the first time on June 19, 1832 at the racecourse in Tempelhof. At the beginning it went over 3,750 meters. In the meantime, the distance has been set at 3,000 meters, following the marathon distance. For the visitors a special pleasure, because the horses pass the grandstands twice.
