The 21st cohort of the Ostkreuz School of Photography invites you to its final exhibition at the Funkhaus Nalepastraße in Berlin. On display are 23 works created to mark the completion of the three-and-a-half-year photography course.

The projects range from long-term documentary investigations and personal photographic essays to conceptual, staged and experimental works. Together, they offer diverse perspectives on a present shaped by political, ecological, technological and social changes.
The works take us to Iran, Ukraine, Egypt, Norway, Spain and Poland, as well as to the River Oder, former GDR planned towns, Swiss football stadiums, forests, family homes and industrial landscapes. They explore war and displacement, family and memory, queer realities of life, the aftermath of German reunification, communities and landscapes in flux, as well as the question of how images shape our conception of identity, history and the present.
The exhibition brings together 23 distinct photographic perspectives that link personal stories with societal developments and demonstrate
diversely photography is used as an artistic medium today.
