And it’s taking place at an iconic spot in Berlin’s nightlife and cultural scene: that courtyard at Friedrichstraße 112, accessible via the legendary King Size Bar. It doesn’t get any more Mitte than this. Nor does it get any more Mediterranean.

Because tipBerlin has the perfect “ragazzi” on board. Take the young venture 13 Grad, for example—under this label, restaurateur Giacomo Mannucci (To the Bone) brings artisanal Italian wineries to Berlin—and to the Frizzante Festival. Or our friends at True Italian, Berlin’s network for Italian gastronomy, with whom we’ll be presenting the True Italian Awards together at the festival’s close. All accompanied by martinis and espressos. Plus Italian beats and live music ranging from Volare to Italo Disco.

Selected importers and retailers will recreate the weekly market of a coastal village on the Amalfi Coast—tasting is highly encouraged. And the city’s best Italian restaurants and food concepts will bring pasta, focaccia, and seafood to Friedrichstraße or invite you to dinner in the run-up to the festival.

After all, la dolce vita can’t be celebrated often enough!
