Fontaines D.C. have taken Irish post-punk to the world’s biggest stages and established themselves as one of the most influential bands of their generation. With their fifth studio album, *Dopamine Chamber*, the quintet will return to Berlin in August 2027.

Since their formation in Dublin, Fontaines D.C. have combined uncompromising post-punk with poetic lyrics and a distinctive atmosphere. Albums such as *Dogrel*, *A Hero’s Death* and *Skinty Fia* made their Irish identity their trademark, whilst with *Romance* (2024) they expanded their sound to include alternative rock, synthesisers and electronic elements. The single “Starburster” marked their international breakthrough.
With *Dopamine Chamber*, Fontaines D.C. are now embarking on a new chapter. Produced by James Ford, the album moves between art-pop and post-punk: electronic sounds and cold synths take centre stage, creating a sombre, otherworldly soundscape. The first single, “Marianne”, offers a taste of an album about alienation, escape and the search for a way out of an increasingly fragmented world.
Live, Fontaines D.C. unleash their full energy: intense, loud and uncompromising. Even on the big stages, the raw power of their music remains palpable. In August 2027, they’ll return to Berlin – bringing their new sound to the capital with *Dopamine Chamber*.
