ABOUT THE FILM:

Teresa (Neus Agulló) is a seamstress. She meets Samir (Kandarp Mehta), the fruit seller, who is actually an excellent tailor and had to emigrate from Pakistan. Enric (Carles Francino), in the midst of a life crisis, returns to his village to attend his grandmother's funeral and discovers the relationship she had with Samir.
The film is autobiographical and based on various personal experiences of the director, Sergi Miralles. A tragicomedy that depicts everyday xenophobia in a small village in the Valencia region (Spain). It conveys a message against racism and celebrates the power of love as a means of creating a home.


The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience, moderated by Olivia López Bremme, accompanied by wine from the Mallorcan winery Ànima Negra and snacks kindly provided by the Hotel Gat Point Charlie (GatRooms).
