Lars, the little polar bear, longs for adventures in the wide world. When he finds a box with a funny cardboard bear standing in front of it, his game doesn’t last long and – ‘snap’ – he’s trapped.

Inside the hold of an aeroplane, his trap breaks and he meets Balthasar the walrus and Lea, the brown bear cub. During a stopover, they manage to escape and the three of them make their way back to the North Pole in a series of fun and adventurous escapades.
