Family Night: When shadows dance and songs take flight

Look forward to creative workshops, poetic shadow theatre, amazing circus acts and rousing music to sing and dance along to. Here, you can get creative, be amazed, have a laugh and experience special stories together with other families. Artists from a variety of disciplines will take you into fascinating shadow worlds, onto a humorous circus stage and to a concert full of rhythm and good cheer.

Whether you’re curious about new experiences, simply want to spend a lovely family afternoon, or fancy experiencing culture in a playful way – Family Night is the perfect place for you. Come along, discover something new and enjoy an evening full of encounters, creativity and shared experiences in a special atmosphere.

A glimpse into the programme

15:00 – Craft workshop with Nadine: Creative hands-on ideas for artists of all ages – to take home, of course!

13:00 - 17:00 – Upcycling workshop: jewellery made from graffiti, in collaboration with NochMall (ages 12 and over, max. 10 participants, registration by email).

16:00 – Theatre with shadows and light: Scuraluna presents ‘Peter and the Wolf’ – a poetic shadow theatre performance full of imagination and magic.

17:00 – Circus show ‘The Ambiguous Vagabond’ Gilad Shabtay delights audiences with humour, acrobatics and surprising moments for the whole family.

18:00 - 19:00 – Family concert with Julie Pascale With her solo ‘Soulkids’ programme, Julie Pascale gets children and adults alike singing along, dancing and grooving.

The events are open to everyone, with no booking required whilst places are still available, and are free of charge.
