Coq au Vin Children's and Family Theater

The magician Polly wants an assistant and decides to conjure up an exact replica of herself—a real twin sister. Can her newly conjured twin sister, Dolly, live up to her sister Polly’s expectations?

In this cheerful and lively play, there’s plenty of magic and circus-style tricks—much to the delight of the children.

The narrator’s voice will likely be familiar to many. It belongs to singer Thomas Pigor (a regular performer at Bar jeder Vernunft)

  • For children ages 3 to 11
  • Running time: approx. 50 minutes
  • Play in German

Cast: Sabine Rieck & Kathrin Mlynek

Press reviews:

Badische Neueste Nachrichten

The main target audience was thrilled and, at times, even went wild. The already lively story benefited immensely from the two actresses, Sabine Rieck and Kathrin Mlynek, who threw themselves into the performance with passion, without any attempt to curry favor. Equally endearing was the fact that the acrobatics and outstanding feats of illusion had to take a back seat to the clever story. Such modesty is simply endearing.
