For the first time, the band presented their songs in calm, stripped-down arrangements, revealing a completely new side of their artistry. The response was overwhelming—and the demand for a sequel has persisted ever since.

Now this successful format is back: With “Tranquilo II,” In Extremo is once again heading out on an acoustic tour. Since the first installment, numerous new songs have been written, which now take on a completely new sound.

A love of experimentation has always been part of the band’s DNA. Whether at medieval markets, in arenas, or on international festival stages—In Extremo never ceases to surprise their audience with unique concert concepts. “Tranquilo II” continues this tradition and takes the band to select, atmospheric concert venues. This time, the focus is on intimacy, emotion, and musical subtleties rather than large-scale stage shows.

The audience can look forward to intimate evenings featuring classics, rarely performed songs, and surprising new interpretations. In Extremo will be joined by Oliver “SaTyr” Pade and Niel Mitra (Faun), as well as violinist Justin Ciuche, who will add additional tonal colors to the program.
