A romantic comedy … or something like that
Juliette’s had enough of men. Just as well she’ll finally have some peace and quiet over Christmas. As a house-sitter, she looks after the empty homes of owners who’ve gone away and declares her new domain a man-free zone. But she hadn’t reckoned with KAI – a smart bloke whose lovely voice is driving her absolutely mad.

By chance, KAI’s ‘relationship mode’ is activated. The result: a man straight out of a picture book – or rather, straight off a touchscreen. Except he doesn’t have a body, but he’s always up for a surprise or two.
KAI’s ‘bugs’ – that is, his glitches – are revealed in a refreshing way, and Juliette unexpectedly stumbles upon her own. Soon she’s no longer at all sure who’s really behind the voice.
Benjamin Stoll lends his voice to KAI and also directs the play.
