A series of presentations will examine the topic from a societal perspective, from the viewpoint of the healthcare system, and from the perspective of epilepsy self-help groups. Other key areas of focus include developments in paediatric and adolescent epileptology, the treatment of epilepsy in adults, and epilepsy in relation to family planning and pregnancy. A concluding panel discussion will examine the development of epilepsy against the backdrop of the period from 1996 to 2026. Between the presentations and during the breaks, there will be opportunities for questions, discussions and conversations. Information stands will offer further opportunities for exchange and to obtain information.
The event will take place in a hybrid format; attendance is free of charge and registration is not required.
