The 90-minute workshops offer a practical introduction to the content and aesthetic principles of each production. Here, you will explore questions relating to the content as well as aesthetic forms, and analyse the characters in the play and individual thematic aspects.

Einblicke Workshop
Theatre education games and acting exercises provide you with a practical introduction to theatre. In this way, you will temporarily become actors and actresses, gaining insights into the content and performance on stage through short scenes you act out yourselves, and engaging in dialogue with and amongst one another.
A theatre educator from the Berliner Ensemble will guide you through a practical exploration of the production ‘De Profundis’, directed by Oliver Reese. In our garden house, we’ll give free rein to the joy of acting and creativity.
NEW: 5 euros for all ‘Einblicke’ events
From the 2025/26 season onwards, a nominal fee of 5 euros will be charged for all workshops and the “Einblicke: Let’s Talk!” series; you will receive this back in the form of a voucher of the same value. You can redeem this voucher for a repertoire performance of your choice until the end of the season.
