Easter Knights' Festival at Spandau Citadel in Berlin

Knights' tournaments and a large medieval market spectacle will attract visitors from near and far to Spandau Citadel at Easter for the 14th time.

From 16 to 18 April 2022, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., market people, knights, jugglers, acrobats and minstrels await the people for market hustle and bustle and amusement.

Already in the morning, brave knights fight for glory and honour with shield, axe and morning star and fearsome battle cries.
Celtic music is also on offer. Whether it's a tender love song or rousing pieces on bagpipes and drums - you can celebrate, dance and sing along!

Perhaps the body needs to be fortified first with hearty and sweet food from the grill, pan and oven, and the courage with the help of mead and barley juice? All this is on offer at many taverns and stalls.
In the meantime, the "Knights of Berlepsch Castle" have gathered on the tournament square with their proud steeds to fight in a tournament for the liberation of Spandau Citadel.

In the evenings, fakir and fire shows enchant visitors, and the mystical fire equestrian show leaves eyes shining and mouths agape in wonder....
At the end of each day, musicians give tavern concerts, on the main stage, the stage in the harbour, followed by the tavern fire spectacle with "Hochkant" & "Braxas-A" with mystical fire show.

As in previous years, admission to the Citadel exhibitions, as well as the tower visit, is already included in the trail toll (except for the Bat Cellar).
