In the 21st century man finally created a band - with feelings!
DZAIJL plays its way through the greatest hits of the last 70 years, which have been enhanced with bombastic brass arrangements by founder Karen “Screamin” Bolage.
Many have covered DZAIJL’s classics: world-famous bands like Queen and AC/DC, stars like Nancy Sinatra and Ray Charles. Even Nina Hagen, Eros Ramazzotti, and indie greats like Stereo Total have tried to be DZAIJL.
Their unique repertoire is uncompromising, rousing, and tailored for rock. As seriously as the band takes its music, it takes itself wonderfully lightly—no song is too cheesy for them, no leggings too tight, no makeup too garish.
They’re gay-friendly, straight-friendly, animal-friendly, and misanthropic. DZAIJL’s history is boundless and not necessarily true, but that’s another story and will be told elsewhere.
