With his debut, Dizzy DROS made rap history: the album is still regarded today as one of the most influential works in the Moroccan hip-hop scene. For around 15 years, the rapper has been shaping the music scene in his home country like few others – and his influence has long since extended far beyond the country’s borders.

In May this year, 13 years after his debut, Dizzy DROS released his second album, *AFLAM*. The Arabic title means ‘films’ – and also sets the tone: the 21 tracks feel like individual sequences of a grand film, coming together to form an atmospherically rich panorama of fame and ambition, anger and love, memory and the search for self. More introspective, lyrically sophisticated and, above all, more visual than its predecessor, AFLAM showcases an artist who is far from having told the whole of his story.
Anyone wishing to experience Dizzy DROS live will have the chance to do so in November: at an exclusive concert in Berlin, he will bring the energy of his songs to the stage.
