Special edition for Alina Gause's 40th stage anniversary

Alina Gause was already sitting at the piano and composing songs at the age of eight. At fourteen, she sang at Berlin's Waldbühne alongside Konstantin Wecker and Udo Lindenberg; at nineteen, she represented Germany as a finalist at the Second Golden Kite World Song Festival in Malaysia.

The Berlin native herself cites her entry into professional life as an actress and singer as her role in the musical theater piece "Elvis – Stages of a Career" alongside Felix Martin, which premiered at the Berlin Kammerspiele in 1986.

Exactly 40 years later, the artist Alina Gause, who has been the artistic director of this theater since 2022, is a certified psychologist, and the author of several non-fiction books and plays, and is performing her solo musical theater piece on this very stage. It goes without saying that both the text and music are her own.

Experience a special evening with a very personal view of Berlin, its people, everyday moments and historical events – told in songs and stories by an extraordinary woman who, in this special edition, looks back on one or two moments of her 40-year stage career.
