For an entire hot summer, Victoria Fleer, Anne Weber and Sörin Bergmann have been busy with sledding on the dike, the seduction of Santa Claus, snowball fights on the Outer Alster and Christmas family idylls, and in the process have discovered: There's no escaping Christmas. Neither in Barmbek nor in Hawaii, where Merry Christmas is called "Mele kalikimaka".
Whether with or without snow; whether Christkind or Santa Claus; whether "Wir schenken sich nix" or "Hier ist dein Gutschein": A pinch of cinnamon (snails) always fits on top.
