Director Bastian Kraft, who has already directed The Visit of the Old Lady, Max Frisch's Biography: A Play and George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, dedicates himself to the Dürrenmatt classic, with a fine sense for the tragicomic and a precise view of the abysses beneath the surface.
