The land of the great word factory is a strange land. In this country you have to buy words and swallow them if you want to speak. Beautiful words are very expensive, so not all people can afford them. People who don't have that much money have to think very carefully about what they want to say. You have to get by with just a few words. And with these few words they have to express everything they want to convey.

Paula, Marie and Osca live in this country. Osca is very rich. She can say whatever she wants. And she can approach Marie and make friends with her. Paula wants that too. But she has no money, and so words fail her.
The picture book was published in France in 2009 under the title “La grande fabrique de mots”, the German-language edition was published in 2010 by mixtvision Verlag in Munich. The story is illustrated by the Argentinian Valeria Docampo.
Expressive body play, music & rhythm are the stylistic devices that make the story understandable across all language barriers.
