‘Moondog’ is intended to evoke the feeling of night and dreaminess, according to composer Elizabeth Ogonek. Bryce Dessner's spectacular Concerto for Piano and Orchestra from 2022 joins the programme as a contemporary addition, followed by Sergei Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5.
