Violinist Isabelle Faust performs Shostakovich's Second Violin Concerto with the DSO. This will be preceded by a work by the composer Sophie-Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatté (1899-1974) - Passacaglia and Fugue for Orchestra. The Third Symphony by Johannes Brahms will conclude this concert evening.
