Wilhelm Karolina, a shy snail, lives in a meadow that’s nice and damp and home to all sorts of other insects. He’d love to transform, too—just like the caterpillars, for example.

One day, a gust of wind blows him away from his beloved meadow. Where he lands, he finds another snail. Maybe it would be nice to crawl through the world together at a snail’s pace?

A play about insect meadows, longed-for transformations, and the charm of slowness.
