Among many attractive offers, one invitation stands out: a trip to the dreamy Canary Island of Fuerteventura. There, Weber is set to really get the German female vacationers at the “Seeschwäche” senior hotel fired up as a musical entertainer.
When his friend Torctèn falls victim to a heinous crime, Weber is suddenly called upon once again to investigate. Without his brilliant assistant, however, the old sleuth is left in the dark for a long time. Only when the two are reunited does new hope begin to sprout. A web of intrigue, greed, and betrayal comes to light, and in the end, Weber must make a decision that will—or could—change his life. It all depends on what he decides.
“The Penguins’ Last Flight” is the second stage show by the—as mentioned—very popular comedian David Weber. The 35-year-old recently won the prestigious Singer-Songwriter of the Year finals in Berlin and the rather inconsequential cabaret award “Die Goldene Möwe” in Hamburg. His debut show, “Storno All Night Long,” was praised for its great ingenuity and musical beauty.
