Brandenburg landscapes photographed by David Gärtner

"I'm often on the lookout for places that wouldn't be readily apparent to everyone. Offroad, so to speak. But even our nature, shaped by man, has a lot to offer. Accompany me to some of these magical places in Brandenburg. I'll be happy to take you along for the ride."

David Gärtner, nature photographer from Berlin about himself:

"Motivated by my parents' home, I discovered my love for nature early on. This led to the need to capture these moments in pictures. For more than 20 years I have been involved in all aspects of photography as well as image processing and discovered my love for landscape photography in particular. Extensive travels, including to remote rainforest and marine areas of Southeast Asia, strengthened my passion. Currently, the focus of my work is in our native natural areas "Landscape and nature photography in Brandenburg".

It is important to me to photograph my motifs seasonally in special light and weather situations. Planning, weather analysis and a portion of luck are an important part of my photography. Only when all factors come together, I am satisfied with my work."
