Head up - chest out
Under the motto "With attitude and humor through life", Daphne de Luxe dedicates her latest program "Head up, chest out!" to the pitfalls of everyday life with her usual cheerfulness and self-irony and gets to the bottom of social phenomena by once again taking a highly amusing look at the behavior of her own family.
Self-ironic, authentic and tongue-in-cheek, Daphne de Luxe skillfully demonstrates humor and poise when she amusingly illuminates topics such as influencers, disgust fascination, role-playing or other curiosities in the lives of her relatives. After all, who better to observe in their everyday peculiarities than the - sometimes more or less beloved - family members. But of course, the humorist's critical eye never neglects her own reflection.
The master of self-irony revels in memories of family celebrations, analyzes with exhilarating kitchen psychology the strange hobbies of relatives as well as the strange career aspirations of the younger generation, philosophizes about our sometimes contradictory way of life and elaborates on the peculiarities of her fellow human beings in a highly entertaining way. "Head up, chest out!" also stands for not hanging one's head at every opportunity, but for looking at life with a wink and finding reasons to laugh. In any case, this program is a good start!
The much talked about mother-in-law, the nephew John-Pierre, the unloved sister-in-law Heidrun and her daughter Leonie provide plenty of material for amusing anecdotes from the life of Daphne de Luxe. And of course the adversities of everyday life don't stop at Schrödi, the house cat, who now has to take heart medication and likes to use the vacuum cleaner robot as a cab to the litter box.
The humorist convinces also in her sixth comedy program with her very special mixture of stylish appearance, amusing entertainment, tongue-in-cheek self-irony, cabaret depth, unconditional authenticity and touching singing. New songs and anecdotes, lots of humor and self-irony provide mercilessly good entertainment and let the audience forget their everyday life for at least two hours or laugh heartily about their own challenges in life.
