The concert combines contemporary choral music, pop and Christmas tunes. Works by female composers such as Elaine Hagenberg and Alexandra Olsavsky are featured alongside music by Eric Whitacre, Vienna Teng, Olivia Dean and Laura Mvula, as well as traditional Christmas carols.
The programme explores themes of love, loss, female self-determination, grief, longing, spirituality and hope. Under the direction of the Welsh composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Jennifer Evans, the evening promises to be one of musical diversity, warmth and harmonious contrasts.
