Light and melodious light music
The title and central theme of the event is the musical film *Wir machen Musik...*, shot at the Ufa studio in Berlin-Tempelhof, featuring the audience favourite Ilse Werner and the melodies of the Berlin composer Peter Igelhoff. The film’s theme song is still considered a real earworm to this day.

Luna Salonorchester
On this evening, the Luna Salon Orchestra will present an interesting programme of well-known and lesser-known pieces from Germany and Europe.
The vocal pieces will be stylishly performed by Sabina vom Dorff.
With charming commentary, the orchestra guides the audience through the evening and provides fascinating background information on the individual works. The audience is treated to a varied concert evening full of musical elegance and nostalgic flair from a time that will never return.
The Luna Salon Orchestra was founded in Tegel in 1999 by Ansgar Mennerich and Burkhard Langer. Its repertoire comprises more than 120 pieces of entertaining salon music from the worlds of film and dance music of the 1920s to the 1960s, as well as medleys, classical pieces and operetta melodies.
