Christmas Swing

As the new bandleader, David Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra bring the original American arrangements of the 1930s and 1940s back to life – entirely without electronic amplification, which emphasises the authentic and unadulterated sound of this special musical genre.

The Swingin’ Hermlins take their audience on a journey to 1930s America, an era famous for its magnificent swing orchestras such as those led by Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller.

In addition to well-known classics, their repertoire also includes rare original arrangements that bring the heyday of swing to life, all complemented by a wealth of Christmas songs.
