»Cello Journey«

Internationally renowned cellist Ramón Jaffé enters into dialogue with composer and pianist Max Doehlemann and his jazz trio. The title piece of the evening is Doehlemann's four-movement suite "Cello Journey" (duration approx. 30 min) – a richly evocative and humorous musical interweaving of classical and jazz, counterpoint and improvisation, which will be premiered on this occasion! The program also includes classical music for cello and piano, as well as flamenco and jazz – always with Jewish references. An unconventional and attractive mix with high musical standards and no less high entertainment value.
