Adventure tour for families with children aged 5 to 10 with palace director Dr. Margrit Schulze, SPSG

When night falls in Königs Wusterhausen, once the visitors and the castle staff have long since gone home, the adventure tour through the ‘Soldier King’s’ hunting lodge begins. Frederick William I used to come to Wusterhausen every year with his family for what was known as the ‘Herbstlust’.

Sometimes you get the feeling that members of the royal family are haunting the palace at night. You hear inexplicable noises, such as the clanking of chains, and see eerie shadows on the walls. The next morning, objects in the palace are sometimes found in different places. The palace rooms take on a life of their own: giant spiders and bats hanging from the ceiling, skeletons and skulls peering out of dark chests, and ghosts dressed in black scurrying silently through the corridors.

  • The ghost tour is particularly suitable for children aged 5 to 10.
