CANARIAS CALLING brings punk, rebellion, and cultural diversity from the Canary Islands to Kreuzberg with the 4th edition of the festival in 2026. Together with friends from Berlin, Sweden, and Barcelona, they'll be celebrating at the legendary SO36 – where else?

CANARIAS CALLING
Line-up:
PLANLOS X (Berlin) – East Berlin punk legends, influential in the GDR subculture since the 1980s. Active again since 2022; they've shared the stage with bands like Team Scheisse, Ruts DC, and Die Toten Hosen. New album in 2025 on a major label.
DEATH BY HORSE (Sweden) – Power punk from Malmö, known for high-energy shows and hits from Reality Hits Hard (2019) to Liminal State (2025) on Sunny Bastard Records.
BÍFIDOS (Gran Canaria) – Wild rockabilly punk trio with a dark, swaying sound reminiscent of Reverend Horton Heat.
ENRALE (Tenerife) – Electro-punk duo with biting lyrics and furious energy against power and the media.
DURCHFALL (Barcelona) – New punk export with humor, heart, and a powerful sound – simply: “making punk great again.”
CANARIAS CALLING FESTIVAL 2026 – SO36, Berlin-Kreuzberg. An evening for resistance, culture, and pure passion.

Accompanying persons always have free entry!
You don't need to buy an extra ticket; the "B" designation on your disability ID is sufficient.
Mobility restrictions for visitors:
The main entrance has three steps. Wheelchair users can enter via the side entrance. The highest threshold there is about 3 cm and, based on experience, can easily be managed even by heavy electric wheelchairs. This entrance needs to be unlocked during events, which our colleagues at the door will gladly do. The team therefore asks for your patience if the situation doesn't allow it at the moment, but you will generally be given priority. Inside SO36 itself, there are two small thresholds at the fire doors, approximately 1 cm high.
The door to the smoking area is unfortunately quite narrow and not easy to navigate with a large electric wheelchair. There is little room to turn around in the room itself.
Wheelchair-accessible restroom:
There is a wheelchair-accessible restroom with a Euro key – or you can get a key from the door staff.
Beanbag Chairs
There are two beanbag chairs available upon request. Please let us know your needs about a week in advance (by phone at +49 30 61401306 or by email to post@so36.de).
Concert Attendance with a Stage:
If you are attending a concert, you can also request a stage with a ramp. If at all possible, the team will set it up in a location with good visibility. Please inform the office about a week in advance (by phone at +49 30 61401306 or by email to post@so36.de).
