Since 1989, the Camerata vocale Berlin has regularly performed three to four concerts a year in Berlin's concert halls, such as the Philharmonie's Great Hall, the Philharmonie's Chamber Music Hall, and the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin. Camerata vocale Berlin was founded in 1985 by Etta Hilsberg as an amateur choir and has been one of Berlin's leading oratorio choirs for many years. Etta Hilsberg directed the choir until the end of 2018. In January 2019, Inga Hilsberg took over the artistic direction from her mother. In September 2021, she handed over this task to Daniel Kirchmann, who has been the choir's artistic director ever since.
